Nestled at the northern tip of the Isle of Arran, the Lochranza Country Inn sits in the heart of the North Arran National Scenic Area – surrounded by sea, hills and wildlife.

Our 120-year-old inn has been lovingly brought into community ownership by the North Arran Community Benefit Society, ensuring this historic gathering place continues to serve locals and visitors alike for generations to come.

Nestled in the heart of Lochranza, our country inn offers a warm island welcome with a fully licensed bar and garden overlooking the bay and Kilbrannan Sound, a cosy restaurant open to residents and visitors, and seven comfortable ensuite guestrooms. Whether you’re stopping by for a meal, a drink or a few peaceful nights away, you’ll find the charm of Arran waiting at your table and outside your window.

ROOMS

Our seven comfortable ensuite rooms combine simple island charm with modern comfort. Several offer spectacular westward views across Lochranza Bay, where sunsets over Kintyre paint the sky in unforgettable colour.

DINING

Our Rowan Restaurant offers relaxed island dining with magnificent views over the terrace to Lochranza Bay. Open daily for breakfast and dinner, and for lunch at weekends, its the perfect place to enjoy freshly prepared dishes in a tranquil lochside setting.

BAR

The Boguille Bar continues to be a popular meeting place for village residents and visitors alike. It is now the only remaining fully licensed premises on the 25 mile coastal road between Corrie and Blackwaterfoot.
